Our Team
welcome to croton falls adventist

We are living in the age of Covid, PPE and social distancing. Outside of our new normal we find mass shootings, political gridlock, mass unemployment, racial intolerance and an overall dissatisfaction with life. Where can we go, what can we do when the troubles of life cause us to be anxious and fearful. We turn to God through prayer and His inspired word the Bible, it still is the definitive answer on questions of morality, behavior and God. No man is an Island, alone we are vulnerable but in Christ we are protected. Life is a journey filled with obstructions and disappointments, don’t go it alone, we are here for you. I invite you to join us in person or virtually on zoom.

Adventurer Club
Our Club gives children an opportunity to belong to an organized peer group. To join, children are invited to participate in various activities which will improve their social skills. The Adventurer Club involves children in grades 1-4 and their parents. The programming and planning for Adventurers is simple and short, but creative. Parental involvement provides opportunities for parents to participate in the learning experience. Every Adventurer aspires to being a Pathfinder one day.

Pathfinder
Our Church is committed to understanding young people and training its youth for leadership and service to humanity. The Pathfinder Club is a church-centered spiritual-recreational-activity program designed for young people 10 to 15 years
of age.

OUR Story

John and Judy Schriver

In the Fall of 2016 a group of believers came together and started the Croton Falls Adventist Church. We all shared the same inconvenience, we were members of a church in Connecticut but lived across the border in New York. So we planted a Church with a simple mission, to be a lighthouse to our new community, a point of light that represents our Savior Jesus Christ. Five years later our goal has not changed, our Beacon continues to be a fixed influence in the community of Croton Falls upper Westchester county. Our work has been made light by the help of some Godly people along the way. Namely our Mother Church, The Danbury Bethel SDA Church and the Presbyterian Church of Croton falls who didn't hesitate to take us in when we needed a home. This list would remain incomplete without the mention of John and Judy Schriver, two very special people who were so instrumental to the beginning of our development. John is no longer with us but Judy remains a source of strength and inspiration. On our journey we lost a few friends and gained new ones. We have had memorable highs and painful lows but remain dedicated and resolute to the promise that we are never alone or without hope. This is God's lighthouse, His Church, held together by faith and the call of the Great Commission.
(Matthew 28:16-20)
